The Center for Research and Advocay for Children´s Rights ILEWASI is an NGO formed by a team of professionals and volunteers from different parts of the world who believe in Human Rights and especially, in the rights of Children and Teenagers and in the richness offered by interculturality.
Our main goal is development education and raising awarness about Children's Rights.
We are working in different fileds in order to promote Children's Rights:
1. Education – in the context of global education, we develop our voluntary work in collaboration with universities, high schools and schools through lectures, workshops, formus seminars etc. for promoting and rising awareness about Children´s rights.
2. Formation – each year since 2011, we are organizing a summer course on Children´s Rights and Peace Education and an online course on Children´s Rights.
3. International Cooperation- we implemented two international cooperation projects in Colombia related with Children´s Rights protection by using person to person approach.
4. Social action - we are developing local projects helping childern from vulnerable groups to learn healthy habbits through non-formal educaction and sport.
5. European projects - we have participated in different Erasmus + projects (youth exchanges, trainings, seminars). We are acredited for EVS as sending and hosting orgainization.
