YWE Outdoor Education

Training Course

9-14 October 2023 | South Tyrol, Italy

We are looking for a total of 24 youth workers who can take part in this exchange: It is mandatory to have a sending organization with a valid OID. Each organization can send from 1 to 5 participants. Application deadline: 26 September

The objective of this Youth worker exchange project is therefore to offer youth workers from all over Europe the opportunity to share best practices and create possible outdoor activities together. We want to stimulate an openness of youth workers that they can pass on to young people.

From a comparison between our organization and a group of local youth workers, a strong need emerged for knowing innovative and sharing tools and methods to involve and stimulate the motivation and participation of young people, to get them out of the house and to get them disconnected from excessive cell phone use.
We want to discover new ideas and ideas together to combat the isolation of young people, to help them build their own identity but also to weave social relationships.

The project targets youth workers from all over Europe who work closely with young people, such as youth center workers etc.

Accommodation and food

Board and lodging are provided by our organization during the whole youth worker exchange.
The house is located in a beautiful, secluded place in themiddle of the Dolomites in south Tyrol (Italy), at an altitude of about 2000 meters.
The house is a self-management house with a nice equipped kitchen, a common room and shared bedrooms for 5-8 people.
The area lends itself quite well to outdoor activities with groups. We decided to implement the youth worker in a house in the middle of the mountain surrounded by nature, due to the topic of the project.
