Training Course

16-24 February 2026 | Pernik, Bulgaria

The aim is to empower youth workers with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to support young people’s mental health and resilience through practical, culturally sensitive, and innovative approaches.

The overall aim of the training is to empower youth workers with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to support young people’s mental health and resilience through practical, culturally sensitive, and innovative approaches. By enhancing their mental health literacy, strengthening their ability to manage stress, fostering emotional intelligence, and integrating non-formal education methods, the project seeks to equip youth workers with effective tools to create supportive environments for young people.

Objectives: 

  • Strengthening Mental Health Literacy & Stress Management: Еquipping youth workers with practical knowledge about stress mechanisms, resilience, and coping strategies.
  • Providing tools for stress management and emotional regulation, ensuring youth workers can apply them in their practice.
  • Understanding Mental Health in Diverse Cultural Contexts:Enhancing the ability of youth workers to navigate cultural differences in mental health perceptions.
  • Building Personal & Professional Resilience:Encouraging the integration of mindfulness and positive psychology into youth work to promote long-term resilience.

The training will use a variety of non-formal education methods to ensure active participation and practical learning. These include presentations, brainstorming, and role-playing to introduce key concepts and explore real-life scenarios. 

All the countries involved: Bulgaria, Spain, Lithuania, Italy, Netherlands, Romania, Türkiye, North Macedonia

Number of participants: 3 participants per country.

Participation fee

No participation fee.

Accommodation and food

Accommodation, meals and materials are fully covered by the Erasmus+ Programme.

Travel reimbursement

Travel reimbursement up to 309 euros for participants coming from Lithuania and Spain.
