Youth Worker Forum "Radicalization"

Training Course

28 February - 7 March 2026 | Kinderdorf Pestalozzi, Trogen, Switzerland

Youth workers will address the topic of radicalization and the challenges while working with young people. Through workshops, insights into selected projects, and exchanges of experiences, they will confront challenges and develop practical action plans.

The Youth Worker Forum is a free training opportunity for professionals in youth work and related fields. It will take place from February 28 to March 7, 2026, at the Pestalozzi Children's Village in Trogen, Switzerland.

Target group: Youth workers who are interested in the topic of radicalisation, seek international exchange, and wish to gain valuable insights and contacts.

Participation requirements:

  • Minimum age: 22 years
  • Work experience with children/youth in the non-formal education sector (e.g. youth work)
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • Physical presence at the Children's Village for the entire project duration
  • Participation in an online preparatory meeting in January (dates available via application)
  • Willingness to share methods, experiences, and insights from practice
