YOUTH WORK LAB: COMPETENCE, INNOVATION & IMPACT

Training Course

11-15 May 2026 | Pernik, Bulgaria

The training focuses on strengthening the professional competences of youth workers, exploring innovative youth work methods, and developing the capacity to create meaningful impact through structured and high-quality youth work practices

Youth Work Lab: Competence, Innovation & Impact is an international training course designed for youth workers, youth leaders and educators actively involved in non-formal learning and youth work. It targets practitioners from NGOs, youth centres, and community organisations who work directly with young people.

The training focuses on strengthening professional identity, competences, and ethical standards of youth workers, while exploring the current realities faced by young people, including mental health, inclusion, and participation. Participants will discover modern, creative, and experiential methods for engaging young people, and learn how to transform everyday youth work practice into structured actions that create meaningful impact.

The programme also supports participants in improving the quality of their work, designing impactful youth initiatives, and increasing organisational capacity to implement Erasmus+ projects. Reflection sessions, group work, and interactive workshops are used to consolidate learning and plan future steps, fostering international networking and cooperation.
