Youth Work in the AI Era

Training Course

16-25 March 2026 | Kaunas, Lithuania

This training will bridge the AI knowledge gap by equipping youth workers with practical skills, ethical awareness and critical thinking to integrate AI into their work responsibly.

Participants will learn how to use AI tools effectively while maintaining a human-centered approach, ensuring that technology supports rather than replaces personal engagement. The program will provide hands-on methodologies applicable for youth work, addressing digital literacy disparities and guiding participants on ethical AI implementation to prevent bias, misinformation and dehumanization.

Project‘s objectives:

  • Develop AI literacy among youth workers through hands-on training.
  • Raise awareness of ethical concerns in AI-driven youth work for 32 youth workers and their NGOs by the end of the project.
  • Provide strategies for integrating AI while maintaining human values for 32 youth workers and their NGOs by the end of the project.

Who can apply:

Youth workers, NGO volunteers, teachers, and other educators active in non-formal learning and youth work.

Participants aged 18+, priority for participants with fewer opportunity backgrounds (economic, social, geographical, or cultural obstacles).
