Conference – Symposium - Forum

18-20 November 2019 | Birmingham, United Kingdom

Following the successful Youth@Work Kick Off conference held in Istanbul, Turkey June 2019; this follow on seminar will bring together key national and regional actors cooperating with Youth@Work national agencies and support centres.

National and Regional Consultative Group’s are integral delivery partners collaborating with Youth@Work National Agencies to build synergies between their work and that of Youth@Work in order to multiply and maximise the impact on youth employability and entrepreneurship development at all levels.

This seminar will bring together the Consultative Groups of Youth@Work partner countries to explore outcomes and recommendations of the Youth@Work Kick Off, share practice and achievements to date as well as explore future plans of the partnership.

It will facilitate contact and peer learning between these stakeholders in order to strengthen cooperation and synergies between local, regional, national and EU initiatives on youth employability and entrepreneurship, particularly in relation to the below themes:

  • fostering female, digital or social entrepreneurship
  • recognition of employability or entrepreneurial competences
  • cross-sectoral or multi-actor partnerships, approaches and collaboration to cultivate employability of youth and young adults, particularly those with additional needs
  • the role and contribution of youth work to employability or entrepreneurial competence development

Costs

Participation fee

This project is financed by the participating NAs of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme. The participation fee varies from country to country. Please contact your National Agency or SALTO Resource Centre to learn more about the participation fee for participants from your country.

Accommodation and food

The hosting National Agency of this offer will organise the accommodation and covers the costs for accommodation and food. All participants will be accommodated in single occupancy rooms at no additional cost.

Travel reimbursement

Please contact your National Agency (NA) or SALTO Resource Centre (SALTO) in order to know whether they would support your travel costs. If yes, after being selected, get in touch with your NA or SALTO again to learn more about the overall procedure to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
