Training Course

12-19 May 2022 | Bergolo, Italy

The aim of this training course is to equip youth workers with basic competences needed to facilitate the learning process of groups with the addition of gamification elements.

"Youth Work 2.0" training course will take place in Bergolo, Italy, in from 12 to 19 May 2022 + 20 May as travel day.
It will bring together 30 participants aged 20+ from Croatia, Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, Greece, Portugal, North Macedonia.
The aim of this training course is to equip youth workers with  basic competences needed to facilitate the learning process of groups with the addition of gamification elements.
Youth workers will be empowered in putting them immediately in practice within a frameworks and space where to create high-quality educational games that address social inclusion among youth.
During the main activity, participants will have the opportunity to gain skills and knowledge in building and leading the learning process of groups while using educational games and gamification elements

"Youth Work 2.0" consists in 3 phases:
– 1st Phase: Preparation before the Training Course in which selected candidates will be asked to complete specific assignment  tasks.
- 2nd Phase: Training Course for Youth Workers
8 days program + 1 travel day focused on giving youth workers the knowledge, basic fundamentals and facilitation skills of group's learning process, together with educational games based on gamification elements discovering educational games as a powerful tool for social inclusion and empowerment minorities at risk of social exclusion.
– 3rd Phase: Follow-Up and Dissemination
Activities at local level where participants come back to their local organizations and put in action the gained knowledge and learned exercises and dynamics.
They will have the chance to practice and improve their facilitation skills by delivering the educational games created in the TC for their target group.

New Wellness Education - APS founded in January 2020 it is specialized in education of youth and training of professionals with the main focus on mental and physical well-being, fostering at same time the recognition and quality of youth work.

The organization, legally established in Lecce(Italy) with operative venues also in Cortemilia(Italy) operates through organizing educational programs and training at local, national and international level.

The educational programs and training are targeted to local and international youth, especially the ones facing facing difficulties in their lives.

As well, the education programs and training are targeted to local and international professionals that are willing to increase their competences.

The educational programs and trainings are set on several different topics, going from social inclusion to entrepreneurship keeping as main aim the raise of personal and social well-being.

All our programs are implemented using methods from the so called non-formal education, working on the recognition of such methodology, recognition of youth work and increasing its quality.

Our initiatives are mostly funded by public and private entities and programs, including Erasmus+, Garanzia Giovani, ESC, though we also offer open call programs for youth and professionals.

The organization also works with people in need offering support and consultancy to disadvantaged as well as events, workshops, campaigns in order to support local and international youth and adults in need.

Costs

Participation fee

We ask you to contribute to the training with a membership fee differenciated by country. Check out info-website for more info.

Accommodation and food

Accomodation and food are covered by Erasmus+ co-funding.

Covid-19 test when needed can be reimbursed if the total amount of travel costs + covid-19 test is less or equal to the maxium about refundable for travel as listed.

Bulgaria - up to 200€

North Macedonia - up to 200€

Greece - up to 200€

 

The reimbursement will be done on the basis of real costs showed on original travel tickets and invoices.

75€ are taken for the local transportation provided by us.
