Youth's voice in decision-making: A matter of a strategy!

This webinar is one of the four online activities that the Democracy Reloading Partnership is organising on the basis of its online Toolkit. Each webinar is focusing on one of the 4 key competences for municipality staff. This third webinar will focus on "Developing policy, strategy and structure for youth participation in decision-making."
During this webinar we will look into what youth policy officers can do to design sustainable structures and and efficient strategies for engaging young people in municipal decisions.
Questions that will be elaborated during the webinar:
- How to learn from our mistakes and avoid non-functional strategies?
- How to build adapted strategic objectives and indicators for youth participation in decision-making?
- How can we learn from other stratégies’s good practices?
Our guest speaker will be: Ms Vania G. Cruz, youth policy officer from, Almada, Portugal
Facilitators: Mr Aly Sassi (Belgium, DR Expert), Ms Filipa Pereira (Portugal, DR Expert)
The webinar will take place from 15.30 - 17.30 Central European Time, on Wednesday, 20th September 2023.
