Youth Runner

Training Course

14-19 September 2022 | Slovenia

This training course has been developed within the capacity building project Youth Runner. This training is made for youth workers who wish to learn more about how to support the learning in youth work.

Youth work has been developing with different pace and with different support in each country. International youth projects show us just how huge the variety of youth work there is. Sometimes, we tend to find similarities or something that complements us, but too often we only see the things that separate our work with the youth work of others. The aim of this training course is to get a new perspective on different youth work practices and to learn how to use them in our advantage.

Objectives:

To get deeper understanding about learning in nonformal learning processes.

To learn how to recognise and support nonformal learning in different structures and in different approaches for the benefit of the young people.

To learn how youth work can contribute to the capacity building in the community.

If you are at least semi-experienced youth worker (at least 3 years of regular professional or voluntary youth work), then this is the training course for you.

Our training course will take place in Slovenia from 14.9.2022 till 19.9.2022. Training course will take four working days. Contact person for further info: karmen.murn@ambitia.eu.
