Youth for Inclusion and Sustainability: Building Skills Through Non-Formal Education"

Partnership-building Activity

8-14 September 2025 | Lagos, NIGERIA

An interactive training course in Nigeria for youth workers, educators, and youth leaders to build skills in social inclusion and sustainability using non-formal education tools and methods.

This 7-day residential training course will bring together 24 youth workers, youth leaders, trainers, and educators from Erasmus+ Programme Countries and Partner Countries Neighbouring the EU.

Objectives:

  • Build participants' competences in youth inclusion and sustainability
  • Share innovative non-formal education tools
  • Strengthen international cooperation between youth organisations

Methodology:

We will use non-formal education methods including experiential learning simulations, role play, peer-to-peer learning, and group project work. The training will be highly interactive and learner-centred, enabling participants to develop practical strategies they can implement in their communities.

Who can apply?

The training is open to all youth workers, educators, community leaders, trainers, and active volunteers, regardless of age. Applicants should be based in EU Program Countries or neighbouring partner countries and be motivated to promote youth inclusion and sustainability in their communities.

Costs:

  • "Participation fee: 20 euros (fee waiver available)"
  • "Accommodation and food are provided by the organizers."
  • "Travel costs will be reimbursed according to Erasmus+ distance band rules ( max. 350 euros per participant)."

An Infopack with detailed programme, travel information, and practical arrangements will be sent to selected participants.

Costs

Participation fee

  • Participation fess 20 euros (waived for those in need - contact organizer).

 

Accommodation and food

  • Acommondation and meals: covered by organizers.

Travel reimbursement

  • Travel: reimbursed up to 350 euros per participant (based on Erasmus + distance bands).
