Youth Empowerment Lab Vol. 2: Leadership, Civic Engagement and Participation

The training aims to enhance the leadership skills of youth workers from Erasmus+ program countries in the areas of youth civic engagement and participation in democratic life. The activities
will be based on interactive and inclusive non-formal education methods, including role-plays, simulations, discussions, creative tasks, etc.

The training also seeks to support participating organizations in effectively engaging adolescents and youth, ensuring that young people with fewer opportunities are actively involved as partners in developing and implementing policies, programs, and processes that affect them.

Specific objectives:

Promote European values, such as equality, intercultural dialogue, inclusion and active citizenship among young people, and equip youth workers with skills and tools for tackling these topics.

Equip youth with the skills to become transformational leaders, while building their capacity in intercultural dialogue and advocacy for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Promote youth participation, civic engagement, and active citizenship across different platforms and formats, with a focus on fostering inclusion and empowering young people at risk of social exclusion.

Strengthen the knowledge, attitudes, and skills of young people and youth workers to lead efforts that promote the core values of the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027 and the 11 European Youth Goals at regional, national, and European levels.
