Youth Discovering Erasmus+ Project LAB

Partnership-building Activity

18-22 June 2019 | Dublin, Ireland

The main aim of “Youth Discovering Erasmus+ Project LAB" is to encourage youth workers to use Erasmus+ within their local contexts and increase the participation of young people in international youth work through the Erasmus+: youth in action programme.

The Project LAB will create the necessary working environment for organizations/informal groups that are active locally in the youth field to create sustainable networks and partnerships for the development of future projects. The Lab will support and facilitate cooperation, project ideas, designing, writing and implementation of projects. Support will be offered throughout the process, and in case of successful applications, during the application process phase.

Objectives of the event:

  • To increase the participation of young people and organisations in the Erasmus+: Youth in Action programme 
  •  To encourage and support the strategic use of Erasmus+ as a tool for inclusion & capacity building of organisations
  •  To increase the capacity of organisations for international youth work
  • To support establishment of long-term quality partnerships
  • To gather and promote results & good practices on national and transnational level.

Expected results:

  • The participants are expected to develop new partnerships and project ideas and should be able to submit an application to E+: Youth in Action programme
  • Increase the number and the quality of projects submitted by organisations/informal groups coming from disadvantaged areas
  •  Increase the participation of young people from disadvantaged areas in E+: Youth in Action Programme
  • Develop new partnerships and projects among the participating organizations
  •  Increase competences of participants to better understand core principles of developing quality inclusion projects involving specific target groups;

Participation fee

This project is financed by the participating NAs of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme. The participation fee varies from country to country. Please contact your NA to learn more about the participation fee for participants from your country.

Participants from Western Balkans are requested to contact SALTO South East Europe Resource Center regarding participation fee.

Accommodation and food

The hosting National Agency of this offer will organise the accommodation and covers the costs for accommodation and food.

Travel reimbursement

Your sending National Agency will support your travel costs. After being selected, please contact your NA to learn more about how to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.

Participants from Western Balkans are requested to contact SALTO South East Europe Resource Center regarding travel reimbursement.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
