YouSport Mini Study Visit 2026 Germany

Study Visit

20-23 May 2026 | Berlin, Germany

The study visit is an opportunity for youth workers and grassroots sports staff from Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, and Malta to gather and learn more about local sports and youth social work projects that promote social inclusion through sports.

The YouSport Mini Study Visit 2026 in Germany will introduce local initiatives and programmes which address different target groups and use a variety of methods, approaches, and funding models to foster social inclusion. Furthermore, it will highlight how collaborative and cross-sectorial approaches on the local and regional level can further enhance quality knowledge-transfer, and social impact.

The main aim of the activity is to provide organisations with the space to share, to learn from each other, to create potential projects under the Erasmus+ (Youth and Sports) Programmes and to build partnerships for future European projects.

The objectives of the visit are to:

  • Showcase several projects that promote social sports for people of different backgrounds
  • Highlight good practice in the fields of youth social work and social sports
  • Explore the topic of social sports, inclusion and participation in practice
  • Learn how networks can support sports clubs in implementing more inclusive activities
  • Exchange good practices and develop knowledge and skills through on-the-spot visits
  • Introduce the Erasmus+ Programme (Youth and Sport)
  • Learn how to design quality Erasmus+ projects with impact for social change
  • Build partnerships for future Erasmus+ Youth and/or Erasmus+ Sport projects

The mini-study visit is a learning-by-doing experience, built on experiences and real cases which are interspersed with workshops, on-the-spot visits, info sessions, and hands-on activities.
