Along with the promotion of Fair Trade labelled products in the Greek Market through the non profit world shop in Athens and other outreach projects, FTH puts a great effort in running awareness raising campaigns, educational programmes in schools and activities and trainings for activists and volunteers.
In 2007-2008 a travelling educational project about fair trade as a tool to fight poverty was funded by the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs and after its end FTH has kept a constant periodical presence in schools of Athens.
Since the beginning of our association FTH is involved in the Youth in Action Programme organizing seminars and being a very active sending and hosting organization for EVS (European Voluntary Service programme).
In the last 3 years either as organiser or as partner, FTH has been involved in Leonardo and Grundtvig projects both based on youth mobility or educational activities. At the moment we are partners in two international development projects in the framework of the Europe-Aid call, mainly based on educational, training and raising awareness activities.
Moreover, together with our Greek and foreign volunteers, we participate in development coalitions with the aim to support the sustainable development and capacity building in the Global South.
