YEPP EUROPE Breakfast Trainings: Digital Community Mapping

Welcome to the 2023 YEPP EUROPE BREAKFAST CHATS & BREAKFAST TRAININGS!
In December 2022, the European Commission has adopted its proposal to make 2023 the European Year of Skills, following the announcement by President Ursula von der Leyen in her 2022 State of the Union address.
Within this context YEPP EUROPE has launched a series of online exchange and learning events for members of the YEPP Community Network, as well as youth organisations and people working with and for young people beyond the network and from across Europe.
Our aim is to foster exchange of best practice and learning in the wide field of topics YEPP EUROPE covers in its work: Youth & Community Empowerment, Inclusion, (Social)Entrepreneurship, Media Literacy, Advocacy Work, Climate Action, Mental Health & Wellbeing and Human Rights.
Participating in our 2023 YEPP EUROPE BREAKFAST CHATS & BREAKFAST TRAININGS will allow you to learn from youth work professionals and practitioners, get to know new learning tools and methods in the above mentioned fields and exchange with young people, youth workers and experts.
YEPP EUROPE director Jochen Schell will provide online training on Digital Community Mapping.
In a non-formal breakfast-setting, we'll show you how to make offline and online community maps with young people. Through Community Mapping, young people and youth workers identify societal issues and potential solutions to bring social change to their community.

YEPP EUROPE works with partners in 19 countries across Europe. We work to empower young people and communities in marginalised areas. This is mostly done through capacity building programmes for youth and youth workers/trainers. The areas of our work are: youth and community empowerment, community-based strategic planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation, cross-sectorial partnership building, advocacy, community-based entrepreneurship, media literacy, and fundraising.
