YCAN We Can - Climates leaders in Africa and Europe

E-learning

15 January - 12 March 2027 | Online, Spain

Young people across Africa and Europe are taking climate action in their communities. YCAN We Can is a free online course that strengthens their skills to create greater impact and drive positive change

YCAN We Can: open call for participants

About YCAN
YCAN (Youth Climate Action Network) brings together youth organisations from Europe and Africa to support young people and youth workers who want to take action on climate change in their communities. The project connects learning, practice and community, so that young people can turn their ideas and energy into real, lasting change.

About the YCAN We Can online course
Many young people across Africa and Europe already lead change in their communities. YCAN We Can helps us take that work further.

YCAN We Can is a free online course for youth workers, young activists and community leaders who want to take climate action in their own communities. Over eight weeks, you will build your knowledge, look after your own wellbeing and develop practical skills to design, fund and share a climate project. You will learn alongside other young people from Europe and Africa, share ideas and get feedback from your peers.

This 8-week online course gives us practical skills in climate action, from wellbeing and project design to advocacy and digital communication. We learn together in live online sessions and do about 6 hours of work at home each week.
