Whoever Saves One Life Saves the World Entire

Other

13-27 July 2006 | Berlin and Wroclaw, Germany and, Poland

Righteous Among the Nations as examples of civil courage and commitment for peace.
We will work for seven days in Berlin and seven in Wrocław. During the stay in Berlin we will deal with the history, in Wrocław we will try to find connections to nowadays. The main aims of the projects are: - visiting historical places connected with the Holocaust, meetings with eye witnesses, working on historical documents, and getting to know biographies of silent heroes, - participating in workshops on civic education, creative teamwork on the final product of the seminar which will be a cultural event (theatre role-play, radio report, photo gallery…) organised by the participants themselves. The presentation will take place in the synagogue in Wrocław, - and, of course, getting to know the other nationalities, the cities, and the culture of the places we visit.
