When Should We Feel Discriminated/When Are We Discriminated?

Training Course

3-11 August 2026 | Bicăcel, Romania

The Erasmus+ mobility project “When Should We Feel Discriminated / When Are We Discriminated?” is a training course designed for youth workers, educators, facilitators, and NGO representatives who work with young people from diverse backgrounds.

The mobility aims to help participants better understand the mechanisms of discrimination in everyday life, identify situations where discrimination is visible or hidden, and develop practical tools to promote inclusion, empathy, equality, and active participation among young people. Through workshops, theatre methods, role-play activities, reflection sessions, storytelling, and community-based exercises, participants strengthen their competences in conflict prevention, emotional awareness, communication, and inclusive youth work practices.

The project also encourages intercultural exchange and cooperation between organizations from different countries, creating a safe environment where participants can share personal experiences, challenge social assumptions, and build strategies for combating discrimination within their communities. The mobility promotes European values such as diversity, solidarity, democracy, respect, and human dignity while supporting the professional and personal development of youth workers.
