The aim of the project “What is Next?” is to increase the competencies of youth workers in career guidance and youth counseling, improve the self-awareness of young people, and facilitate the career guidance process.

The aim of the project “What is Next?” is to increase the competencies of youth workers in career guidance and youth counseling, improve the self-awareness of young people, and facilitate the career guidance process.

The training course is open for youth workers, youth leaders, social workers who work with young people and staff from NGOs and formal education systems as the main target group.

The objectives of the project are:
• To help youth workers/leaders to explore tools and methods to help youth in self-awareness and career guidance processes such as skills assessment instruments, competence inventories, work experience and working modes questionnaires, and surveys on individual skills –learning, entrepreneurship, and employability.
• To raise youth awareness about the importance of self-awareness and equip them with useful tools such as interest inventories, motivation and value-orientation questionnaires, work preference and values surveys etc.
• To develop the essential competencies of youth workers/leaders in mentoring, supervision, and coaching and give a basic understanding of the differences and importance of these roles.

The project consists of two training courses:
1. The First residential meeting will be held on 19 - 28 June 2023 (travel days included).
2. The Second residential meeting will be held on 26 November - 5 December 2023 (travel days included).
Both trainings will be hosted in the “Youth Hostel” Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg.

The participants of the first stage will have a priority to take part in the second phase in November 2023.

The main objective of the Association is to establish, promote and support social awareness regarding the importance of education with a view of strengthening skills and capacities.

Participation fee

There is no participation fee for this project

Accommodation and food

Food, accommodation and program costs will be provided and fully paid thanks to financial support from Erasmus+ Programme granted by Luxembourgish National Agency - Anefore.

The participants will be provided with three meals – breakfast, lunch, dinner as well as coffee breaks.

All participants will be accommodated in the hostel and 2-4 people will share the rooms.

Travel reimbursement

TRAVEL COSTS AND REIMBURSEMENTS

The reimbursement of the travel expenses (travel from your departure city to the venue of the project) will be made by bank transfer for all participants.
