Well-bee-ing - Let it bee: Sustainable well-being of people and planet!

"Well... Bee...ing" is your opportunity to combine your passion for sustainability with your role as a youth worker. You will leave this training course with knowledge, skills, and inspiration to create a lasting impact on young people's lives.

� What Will You Learn?

This training course, "Well... Bee...ing," is designed especially for you!

We believe that empowering young people to embrace sustainability is key to securing a brighter future for our planet and themselves. The Green Comp framework will serve as a common ground for the participants to build sustainability competences and skills to create projects together with young people.

Day 1: Arrival and Sustainability Games

• Arrival
• Welcoming dinner
• Kick off the course with fun games that introduce you to sustainability concepts in an engaging way.

 Day 2: Understanding Sustainability Values

• Understand the core values that underpin sustainability.
• Explore how sustainability connects to both planetary and individual well-being.
• Master the art of framing sustainability problems.
• Discover the power of systems thinking and critical thinking in sustainability.

 Day 3: Creating a Sustainable Future and Taking Action

• Gain insights into creating sustainable solutions within Erasmus Plus projects.
• Learn how to design and execute greener, more sustainable projects.
• Enjoy a memorable see you later dinner with your fellow participants.

 Day 4: Departure

Follow-up Online Session:

• Well-bee-ing will be carried out in different places to decrease CO2-emissions. After the course in Oslo, there will be an online session where you can meet potential partners that have participated in Well-bee-ing in other places and further discuss projects and turning your newfound knowledge into impactful actions. The date will be February 9th 2024 (subject to change).

� The trainers

Karólína Baldvinsdóttir: Karolina is an upper secondary school teacher in rural North Iceland. She teaches art, entrepreneurship, environmental studies, and more both on site and online. She has participated in numerous Erasmus+ projects with her students, mostly regarding sustainability and empowering young people.

Fun fact: Karólína loves discgolf

Jonas Sylvester Kaspersen: Jonas is a youth consultant in a Municipality in Denmark and has created many projects together with young people. He has started an association to build entrepreneurial competences for young people and done study visits on green entrepreneurship. Fun fact: Jonas ran for local elections in Denmark tracking CO2-emissions of his campaign and riding his bicycle with a a poster to promote greener solutions and minimise waste on election campaign posters. He currently runs a Wheelie Community with young people to play concerts and do events promoting youth-driven communities with a bicycle that transforms into a stage.

Marina Ermina: Marina’s background is in Environmental studies and Education. She has been working with children and young people internationally in various capacities. Among her recent roles are Waldorf school and environmental NGO Seeds Iceland. She has been engaged with non-formal learning activities and Erasmus+ running workshops related to important environmental and social issues. Fun fact: Marina was living for over a year in India and Nepal learning about Yoga and wellbeing practices. She is passionate about healthy and ecological lifestyles that she calls “green wellbeing”.
