E-learning
25 March 2026 | Online, Belgium - FL
Across Europe, something important is happening.
Community organisations, civil actors and informal learning providers are struggling to find accessible and affordable spaces to meet, learn and organise.
At the same time, many cities and villages are full of vacant or underused buildings.
What if we could connect these two realities?
Join our upcoming webinar on Shared Community Spaces and explore how space sharing can help address some urgent challenges:
- The growing need for inclusive “third places”, especially for vulnerable or isolated citizens
- The shrinking space for civil society and grassroots initiatives
- The decreasing availability of venues for informal adult education and lifelong learning
- The untapped potential of vacant buildings as community infrastructure
During this interactive online session, several experts will share their insights through short presentations and breakout discussions. We will also present the outcomes of our Erasmus+ project “Towards Shared Spaces”, including key lessons, tools and examples from across Europe.
Our goal is simple: bring together practitioners, policymakers, researchers and local actors to exchange ideas and practical approaches for making better use of space.
This project is a collaboration between beweging.net (Belgium), Absentia (Italy), Vuelo (Spain) and Le Lab (France) and is co-funded by the European Union through Erasmus+.
We would like to invite you to an online webinar presenting the outcomes of the Erasmus+ project “Towards Shared Community Spaces.”
