Webinar: Ethical Guidelines for AI in Youth Work

Seminar

2 December 2026 | Finland

In this webinar the goal is to explore an increasingly important topic for the youth work sector: how we can understand, use and engage with artificial intelligence in an ethical, responsible and meaningful way.

The webinar will take place on 2 December 2026, 14:00-16:00 CET, via Zoom.

AI is shaping how young people learn, communicate, access information, participate in society and understand the world around them. It also raises important questions about young people’s wellbeing and safety.

What are the guidelines for AI in youth work?

This webinar will introduce the ethical guidelines for AI in youth work designed to support youth workers in developing their AI literacy. The webinar will inspire reflection, encourage discussion and provide practical insights that youth workers can take back to their work and organisations.

Guidelines attached were drawn up as part of the Integrating AI Skills into Youth Work Practice project. The project is managed by the Finnish Society on Media Education (FSME).  Its aim is to support organisations and staff in the youth sector in using AI in a way that is appropriate, safe, lawful and in the best interests of young people.
