Training Course
21-29 May 2018 | Le Mans, France
VR EDU aims to introduce and teach educators, social workers or youth workers some of the usages of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality in the context of informal education.
WHAT IT IS:
VR EDU aims to introduce and teach educators, social workers or youth workers some of the usages of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality in the context of informal education. Participants will return from this training, with a strong awareness of existing tools in the field of VR/AR and how these can be deployed in a youth work context at an affordable cost, so that participants may replicate or inspire themselves from the solutions we will have introduced during the training.
FOR WHO:
We are seeking individuals working in the sectors of education, social work, technology or media of any age and sex, who have an interest in the usage of VR/AR in an educative context and whom would consider themselves as having a friendly attitude towards technology. Having an interest in the maker and hacking movement is also a bonus. Participants will need to be willing to share their experience in education and technology and partake in the activities of the training. Participants must be able to converse in English and must be residing from one of the following participating countries: France, Belgium, Luxembourg, UK, Italy, Albania.
PARTNERS:
We have 5 partners taking part in this project, from all over Europe (and Albania). Our partners bringing a mix of experience and knowledge from the fields of education, social entreprise, youth exchange, technology and VR/AR.
