The V.O.L.U.M.E project will promote European cooperation and highlight the role of volunteering in shared development challenges in partner organizations and beyond in partner countries.

The V.O.L.U.M.E project will promote European cooperation and highlight the role of volunteering in shared development challenges in partner organizations and beyond in partner countries. In the project we will focus on the value of Youth volunteering, Participants from Partner countries will share experience and knowledge on the value of volunteering in the European sustainable development agenda, find inspiration and strategies to grow approaches and create common solutions. The project will support development in partner countries and help strengthen the system of volunteering in partner organisations, because; some partners have substantial experience in promoting volunteering and already have mechanisms and platforms to coordinate volunteer programs across Europe.

Objectives:

  • To discuss methodological approaches to assessing the impact of youth volunteer service (ESC).
  • Outline the main challenges faced in assessing the impact of the youth voluntary service program (ESC).
  • Deepen knowledge of the overall process of managing ESC projects and acquire the skills to effectively structure activities throughout the project cycle.
  • To encourage the use of non-formal learning methods and creativity in the implementation of ESC volunteer projects.
  • Identify the roles of different actors in this ESC process.
  • To empower youth workers to engage more actively with their local communities and to provide a way for them to do so and increase their likelihood of being involved in voluntary activities in the future.
  • To raise awareness about the philosophy of volunteering and to create the opportunity to realize high quality and successful volunteer projects.
  • To provide basic information about ESC projects, basic documents describing the rights, responsibilities and roles of the main stakeholders involved.

While improving the competencies of young people, we also take action in line with the objectives of the European Youth Strategy.

There is no participation fee

Accommodation and food


Accommodation from the project start and end date (early morning of 12th and latest until noon of the 19th of September) is covered under the Erasmus+ programme. For the early arrivals and later departures, participants can stay in the project venue (if the project team is informed timely) however it is the participants' own responsibility to pay the fee for extra days. 

Three meals and the coffee breaks are covered through the project's fund under the Erasmus+ programme.

The travel days are the 12th of September (arrival) and the 19th of August (departure). During the arrival and departure days, the participants are free to explore the city.

The travel reimbursements are paid on the last day of the training course.
