Utilization of Sport in Context of Youth Work project is developed with the main aim of equipping youth workers with knowledge and skills how to utilize sports and physical activity

Utilization of Sport in Context of Youth Work project is developed with the main aim of equipping youth workers with knowledge and skills how to utilize sports and physical activity as tools to increase active participation and increase inclusion of young people within societies with the focus on those with fewer opportunities. Therefore youth workers that are going to participate will be directly influenced and empowered to change their daily routines in implementing activities.

More specifically the objectives for the youth workers are :

  • To be more diverse in implementing youth work activities, incorporating sports and physical activities as a part of their youth work toolbox
  • To get trained to run sport and outdoor activities from scratch emphasising efficiency of this kind of programs
  • To be able to plan, execute and assess sports and physical activities in work with young people in particular one with fewer opportunities
  • To be aware of advantages of sports and physical activities for outreach of young people with fewer opportunities
  • To gain all necessary knowledge how to incorporate reflections as part of running sport and outdoor activities so that learning of young people is maximised
  • To be informed about different youth work practices in relation to sports and physical activities based learning
  • To be in position to use own initiative and create new tools and methods for working with young people with fewer opportunities
  • To be connected and networked with other youth workers active in the field of sports and physical activities
  •  To be able to plan activities within the framework of Erasmus+ and Erasmus sports programs.

Association Bren e.V. is created to serve as a learning group that gathers people with different backgrounds and professions such as: young people, youth and sport workers, entrepreneurs, experts ni different topics, migrants, refugees and of course many young people in general. Our aim is to be actively involved ni the creation of healthy, educated and active German and European society.
The purpose of the association is cooperation with various educationalinstitutions, organizations and
companies to improve the standard of living and quality of life of the citizens. Introduction of regulations and strategies for the
sustainable use of the capacities of local communities and municipalities.
Establishing contact and cooperation with young people, associations and networks of organizations at home and abroad ot promote the development of citizens, with a special focus on marginalized and underdeveloped countries, improving living conditions and realizing guaranteed human rights.
Conducting events and activities for young people and charity. Promotion of sport as a means of maintaining health and as an opportunity for young people ni particular to test and improve their performance.
The purpose of the Organization is achieved in particular through:
• Implementation of youth events and measures, especially educational events,
• Organizing and participating ni sports-related and interdisciplinary sports and club events, • Conducting sport and other events for charitable purposes.

Participation fee

There is no participation fee

Accommodation and food

Food, accommodation and local travel costs (only during the activity program) wil be covered by the grant from the National Agency of Germany of the Erasmust Programme.

Travel reimbursement

Reimbursement:
According ot the rules of the National Agency of Germany, travel reimbursements can only be made by bank transfer to the Partner Organization and based on real costs.
The bank transfer wil be executed after receiving al of the original documents (receipts, invoices, boarding passes and reimbursement claim) by post, filling the form generated by the National Agency online evaluation through the Mobility Tool by al the participants, dissemination of results, up ot the budget limit set by the Erasmus+ Programme.
