UNITY- Unite Nations to Inspire Tolerance and Equity!

Training Course

10-19 July 2024 | Pińczów, Poland

This training course is dedictated to youth workers, teachers, trainers who would love to learn how to implement and adapt non formal eduaction methods in regards of discrimination, stereotypes and inequalities.

The main activity is a 10-day training course for 24+2 trainers youth workers that will take place in Pińczów, Poland. During this week we will explore meanings, roles, and complementarities of differenteducational approaches and methods regarding gender issues, stereotypes, and discrimination. The first two days we will have a focus on getting to know each other, create a safe and non-formal environment useful for learning, understand the participant's background, expectations and fears and get into the topic.


Objectives for this training course are directed to 24 youth workers, that are going to participate in this project, and furthermore, pass their knowledge and teach skills they gained to others:


1. To explore the characteristics and complementarities of different educational approaches and methods and how they can benefit from each other.
2. To raise awareness on the topics of discrimination, prejudice, stereotypes, and social inclusion by increasing competencies of youth workers
3. To equip youth workers with tools, manuals, handbooks, references, and other educational NFE materials. To gain more trust and competence in using Non-Formal Educational methods to promote important values in societies

Led by two experienced trainers with a background in both youth work and Erasmus+ projects, the training will be exclusively based on non-formal education and drama methods. This approach aims to help participants achieve their objectives, improve their youth work practices, and inspire them to integrate more innovative methods into their work. Join us for an enriching experience that combines theory with hands-on application, empowering you to make a lasting impact in your youth work endeavors.
