The overall aim of TYE - Tools for Youth Exchanges - is for youth leaders and youth workers to explore, share and adapt tools that can be used to improve their youth exchange projects.

Training programme
The TYE course programme is built on the past experiences of participants and will offer a non-formal education and training experiences. See the provisional programme enclosed.
Expected profile of participants
The training course is designed for voluntary and professional youth workers, working directly with young people and who have one of the following experiences with ERASMUS+: Youth in Action:
This training course will be in English, without any possibility of permanent translation. Therefore, we ask you to have a good level of English (to be able to understand and to communicate).
You should be engaged in working with young people, have direct contact with young people who are already involved or want to get involved in an international youth exchange.
Participants should be at least 18 years old.
Expected group size is approximately 25-30 participants
Information about training activities reaches SALTO from the most different directions. SALTO cannot be held responsible for incorrect information or changes in the training activities. This project is financed by the participating National Agencies (NAs) of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme. The participation fee varies from country to country. Please contact your National Agency or SALTO Resource Centre (SALTO) to learn more about the participation fee for participants from your country. Asking the contact person for fees and travel arrangements will not be answered!
The hosting NA (Iceland) of this offer will organise the accommodation and covers the costs for accommodation and food.
Please contact your NA or SALTO in order to know whether they would support your travel costs. If yes, after being selected, get in touch with your NA or SALTO again to learn more about the overall procedure to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
