Transformative Education Hub 2026

Training Course

11-16 May 2026 | wannseeFORUM, Berlin, Germany

A capacity-building training for coordinators, facilitators, and designers of non-formal education programs, focused on strengthening communities and enhancing how courses are created.

About the training

The Transformative Education Hub (TEH) 2026 is a short course (SC) designed for SC coordinators, designers, creators and also those with facilitation experience who are looking to coordinate or create SCs. TEH 2026 seeks to strengthen the community of course coordinators and organisers, as well as hone our abilities to implement courses effectively. Through engaging in active workshops and micro projects, participants will share experiences, best practices, and obstacles they have faced. Each participant will both offer and receive insights. Each short course is unique, and we can all learn from fresh perspectives.

  • Non-formal education workers seeking new methodologies and approaches for their education programs.
  • Over 18 years old.
  • Available throughout the duration of the program.
  • People with at least an intermediate level of English, as all training will be conducted in this language.
  • Members from EU + associated + regions 1-4 countries.

Learning Objectives

  • Build upon prior knowledge, methods, and skills necessary for coordinating successful short courses.
  • Enhance skills in creating new courses from scratch.
  • Develop new activities within short courses to meet specific aims.
  • Improve the effective implementation of short courses.
  • Learn from peer experiences, best practices, and challenges.
  • Apply key aspects of short course design in practice through hands-on activities and exercises.
  • Leave the training with a practical toolkit to support the design and development of your own SC.
