This training course will provide the space to explore challenges, improve youth work competences and create long-lasting partnerships based on the ETS Competence Model for Youth Workers.
`Into the Future´ is a training of youth workers, where participants explore the competence areas cooperating successfully in intercultural teams and communicating meaningfully. Based on these experiences, participants will get together into groups, practically develop and implement valuable educational experiences for others.
Additionally, this training course provides the space to explore challenges, improve youth work practices, and potentially create long-lasting partnerships.
We are focusing on the following youth workers competences:
(1) Communicating Meaningfully, (2) Cooperating successfully in teams, (3) Designing educational programmes, (4) Facilitating group learning processes, and (5) Displaying intercultural competence.
Participants are staying in Osterholz-Scharmbeck https://kulturgruppenhaus.de/ and will share rooms with one to three other people. The place is rather remotely secluded and shops are not easily accessible.
The training course will be hosted by NaturKultur e.V. and the group learning processes will be facilitated by three experienced trainers who have multiple years of experience in the field of youth work. Additionally, we make sure that the trainers have well-distinguished professional backgrounds so that different perspectives will be provided.

NaturKultur e.V. is a youth association in Germany with over eleven years of experience in the field. Our biggest impact is done through activities that channel our values and beliefs through our multicultural and diverse team, which is transmitting that passion for creating and providing great learning experiences for young people in Germany and beyond. This includes local initiatives, local and international youth exchanges and training courses. As well as projects to share best practices, foster innovative approaches and build bridges between international organisations. Our values and beliefs shape how we approach our work, how we guide our decisions and behaviours in our everyday world. They are deeply embedded in all of us, and we gladly share them through young people and partners we work with on a daily basis. We are providing a platform for young people to make a positive impact and change the world while they are developing themselves. Special emphasis is put on including young people with fewer opportunities, such as young people with disabilities, those who live in rural areas, belong to different ethnic minorities, are refugees, or have learning difficulties. 30 Euro participants fee (will be deducted from the reimbursement). Please contact the project manager, after the selection process finished, if you are unable to cover the costs.
The travel, accommodation, and food will be covered by the Erasmus+ programme.
Travel will be reimbursed depending on the distance (see Erasmus+ guide and distance calculator): https://erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu/resources-and-tools/distance-calculator
Reimbursement depends on travel distance and whether travel is considered green travel. Non-green travel budget:

- Czech Republic up to 309 EUR
