International Youth Work Trainers Guild invites you to participate in the inaugural Training of Trainers “Power up your training with generative AI,” organized as part of our Erasmus+ accreditation approved by the German National Agency. This training is designed to develop and strengthen digital competences for youth work trainers at all stages of their careers.
Objectives:
Preliminary training programme:
Day 1: Getting to know participants and training introduction with needs analysis.
Day 2: Understanding AI - myths, truths, and general background overview. AI training assistant.
Day 3: Ethical considerations of AI in training context. Study visits to local tech centers.
Day 4: Workshops and peer-led sessions exploring AI tools
Day 5: Practical application, creation work and debriefing on experience.
Day 6: Exploring remaining issues, further learning pathways, networking, evaluation.
Please note that the programme will be adapted according to the needs and self-assessment of selected participants.
Participant Profile
This training welcomes both newcomers and experienced trainers in the youth work sector.
The Trainer in the field of youth is defined as someone “who shapes, guides and accompanies the learning processes of individuals or groups. Trainers design and implement educational activities based on the values and principles of youth work and non-formal learning; they create conditions that promote the learners’ individual development, and they shape the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values necessary for youth work”*
Who Should Apply?
Individuals currently working as trainers/facilitators, either locally or internationally, and eager to develop or expand their skills in using generative AI within youth work training settings.

Participation fee: €70 for non-members of the International Youth Work Trainers Guild.
In justified cases, you may request a discounted or waived fee—this should not be a barrier to your participation.
This course is partially co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme, and therefore, most of the costs (training, meals, accommodation) will be covered by the organisers.
Visa costs: reimbursed up to €100 per person.
Special needs support: covered based on actual costs (to be agreed by both parties).
Travel costs will be reimbursed based on the real costs not exceeding the lump sums based on the travel distances, in Euro:
10-99 km - 28 / Green travel - 56
100-499 km - 211 / Green travel - 285
500-1999 km - 309 / Green travel 417
2000-2999 km - 395 / Green travel 535
Only justified costs will be eligible for reimbursement. If your travel will exceed the lump sums above, the remaining costs shall be covered by the participant or their sending organisation.
