Training of Trainers in Simulation Games - Conflict Consultant for Internally Displaced People

Training Course

3-6 September 2015 | Tbilisi/Bakuriani, Georgia

Creative Development Center in cooperation with CRISP e.V and IfA (Institute for international Relations) is opening a call for participants to get involved in long term qualification program „Conflict consultant for Internally displaced people“.
Project Description: For call for applications for Ukraine please visit: http://cdc.org.ge/?p=5094 Information below concerns to applicants from Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan! Why: High number of IDP (Internally displaced people) in the region of Caucasus as well as Ukraine nowadays, shows urgency of answering the issue of reintegration through innovative ways. Nowadays besides conflicts between states, we face conflicts among communities, or even inside communities, especially those affected by conflicts themselves. Stigmatization and discrimination are following the process of integration, and this makes situation even more challenging for everyday life. In some cases it is even difficult to find specific status quo for those who had to leave their cities or who are still living near the border. Who: Key players in this situation are grass root organizations or free lancers who are actively working with IDP and try to support their socio-political integration. Besides their good network, they also have trust among beneficiaries. Nevertheless, such organizations very often lack different innovative instruments, that would support them to achieve their goals. That’s why we have decided to propose the project „Conflict consultant for IDP“, which will pormote tool of simulation games on different levels. On one hand we aim to empower trainers and organizations dealing with IDP issues, and on the other hand we are directly working with IDP via local activities planned in frames of he project Main Goal of this project is to support integration process of IDP, for reaching our goals we develop innovative approaches through simulation games. We believe, that fostering communication among different groups as well as different stakeholders gives us a chance to let different members of society raise important issues and find solutions for the problems that IDP are facing everyday. Therefore, we want to empower and educate multiplicators for sustainability of our actions. We foresee 3 meetings: September 3-6, Georgia October 27-31, Georgia Implementation phase in November on local level December 10-13, Georgia
