Training of trainers in non-formal education 4th-11th of August 2023

The project aims at increasing the capacities of youth leaders to carry out international non-formal educational activities with a focus to the gathering youth in times of war.

After the training you will be able to practice your skills during our next projects in Ukraine, Poland and Germany and to get informational support to start youth exchange in your community.

We are inviting youth leaders 18–35 (we limit age because the donor is limiting it, it is a foundation that funds youth, that has a age range) from Ukraine, Poland and Germany who already had international exchange experience and are interested in developing as project coordinators, trainers, facilitators for the international youth groups. Candidates who have certificate of a youth worker from Ukraine are encouraged to apply. Good level of English sufficient for the communication is a must.

Modules of the training:

• how non-formal education can fight wrong things in society? The role of political and civic education in times of war. Interactive learning of history;
• group dynamic and cultural diversity during the meeting;
• practical methods for moderation in non-formal education, flipchart workshop;
• how to use art as an instrument to talk about war, practical examples;
• how to support and emphasize people who are facing war; basic knowledge about trauma for youth workers;
• how to create a team of A-players and what challenges are international partnership facing during the war?
• financial opportunities for trilateral youth exchanges, digital instruments for development.
