Training Course

The aim of the project is to develop youth workers' competences in preparation and implementation of a training session. If you want to learn how to become a better TRAINER, this is the training for you!

This training course is dedicated to youth workers who want to develop their training competences. The structure will be similar to a Train the Trainers (TOT). We want to bring together both experienced and unexperienced youth worker that are motivated and willing to learn.

Our project objectives are:

1. Improve participants’ competences in finding the needs of the young people they work with.

2. Help participants better understand how to prepare and implement a training session.

3. Develop participants skills in implementing and debriefing non-formal education methods.

This project is mainly addressed to:

  • Youth workers that are currently working with young people
  • Youth workers that are new in the youth field but are actively volunteering in an organization
  • Trainers that want to improve their competences
  • Teachers that want to start a training carrier and that are already involved in extracurricular activities
  • Volunteers in non-profit organizations that want to become trainers

Age limit: over 18

The project will be facilitated by Rizescu Oana and Marian Ancuta. They are both trainers for more than 10 years and they implemented over 50 E+ projects.

Participants in this training course will learn how to:

● Prepare a training session

● Set objectives

● Find and select methods

● Implement non-formal education methods

● Adapt their methods to a specific target group

● Coordinate a group of young people

● How to create a training career

● Connections between E+ and being a trainer

● Implement debriefing

● Become self-organized

● Learn how to learn

● Time management

● Become more self-confident

Participation fee

This project is financed by Erasmus+ Programme in the field of youth. There is no participation fee.

Accommodation and food

Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, food, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered.

Travel reimbursement

You are expected to arrive in Romania on 6 May and leave on 15 May. You can take extra days if you want to visit Romania. You can not have a shorter stay.

The travel costs will be reimbursed up to this limits: 

Romania: 40 euros/participant

Italy: 200 euros/participant

Polanad: 200 euros/participant

Estonia: 200 euros/participant

Spain: 300 euros/ participant

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
