Training of Trainers and Active Leaders - TOTAL

Project “Training of Trainers and Active Leaders – TOTAL” is 9 day Training Course that will be hosted by TDM2000 Polska in Wroclaw, Poland from 12th until 20th of January 2015 involving 10 organisations from United Kingdom, Italy, Malta, Cyprus, Lithuania, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic and Poland. Project is created as answer to need of partner organisations, needs of many young people and need of European youth work in general to educate youth trainers and youth leaders for running sessions/training related to active participation of young people, European awareness and other related topics. Project will prepare representatives of partner organisations to independently work on preparation, implementation, evaluation and monitoring of youth non-formal education activities related to active participation, but also other task important for youth nowadays, by providing them with trainers skills and knowledge such as communication, behavior, methodology, tools and sources and finally experience. Project will also contribute to recognition of non-formal education and use of Youth Pass through education of youth workers about that and sharing information throughout the project. One of the results of the project will be creation of network of youth organisations, trainers and leaders from different European countries that will run projects and activities related to active participation together in future. Project will also empower partner organisations and other youth organisations from all over the Europe by education of their staff, creating network, sharing experience and good practice and providing materials useful for future work. Methodology used on project will be various compilation of European youth non-formal education methods such as work in groups, simulations, presentations, debates, role plays, discussions, brainstorming, etc. Project will have impact not only to participants that will become trainers and partner organisations that will be empowered for their future activities, but also to many young people that will participate in follow up sessions and trainings, communities in which organisations are active. Significant impact will be achieved on other youth organisation and trainers trough promoting Codex of trainer’s, offering network to other youth workers and other results of the project via website, social networks and rest of channels of communication. Partcipant profile: - Junior trainers (persons that already have some experience in the field of leading sessions individually) - Persons having previous experience in delivering training modules on active participation (optional) - Interested in setting further co-operation with similar organizations from other European countries - Being able to communicate fluently in English
