Are you an activist, youth worker, educator, or musician passionate about driving change in your community? Join our transformative Songs For Action 2025 training, taking place in Berlin (06 - 12.09) and Madrid (08-14.11)

Are you an activist, youth worker, educator, or musician passionate about driving change in your community? A resident of Spain, Croatia, Netherlands or Germany? Join our transformative Songs For Action 2025 training, funded by the ERASMUS+ Program (Key Action 1)!

PHASE I: 6–12 September, Landesmusik Akademie, Berlin. 

PHASE II: 8–14 November, Estudio Patio Manzanas - Hostel Mola, Madrid.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

This hands-on, two-phase training blends learning by doing with real-world application. You’ll participate in dynamic workshops, receive expert guidance, support and feedback from our trainers, and create your own original song and music video.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

Apply the Songs for Rights LACPA approach (Learn, Assimilate, Create, Produce, Advocate)

Learn and apply the five essential Songs for Rights principles (PIJEQ): Participation, Inspiration, Joy, Empowerment, and Quality.

Design and facilitate workshops that use music for social change

Write, compose, record, and produce songs and videos addressing key social issues

Strengthen facilitation, group management, and communication skills

Use music as a tool for advocacy and community empowerment

Costs

Participation fee

All travel, accommodation, and food costs related to the

training are fully covered through an Erasmus+ grant. Travel

expenses will be reimbursed by the organizer, with the

reimbursement amount depending on your place of

residence and chosen mode of travel. If you are selected for

the training, you will receive detailed information about

travel arrangements and reimbursement procedures.

To support the additional costs of the Songs for Rights

program—such as access to instruments, recording studios,

music production equipment, video production materials,

and other creative resources—we ask participants to

contribute a participation fee of €70 per training.

If the participation fee is a barrier for you, please do not hesitate

to apply. We are committed to making the program accessible and

will work with you to find a suitable solution.

Accommodation and food

It is included. We organize accomodation and food. 

Travel reimbursement

We will reimburse participants according to the Erasmus+ criteria (travel distance, amount)
