E-learning
9-11 June 2026 | online, Slovenia
We are inviting participants from Spain, Germany, Latvia, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Serbia, and Italy to apply for the PST4Youth (PST4Y) Training for Trainers (T4T). Each country has up to 8 available places.
The PST4Y T4T is designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience needed to use the Place Standard Tool for Youth (PST4Y) in their local contexts. PST4Y is a participatory tool that supports young people in exploring how their environments affect their well-being and empowers them to contribute to local decision-making processes. During the training, participants will gain an understanding of youth well-being and its connection to local environments, learn how to use the PST4Y tools in practice, explore methods for facilitating youth participation and engagement, and develop skills for supporting young people in advocacy and decision-making processes. The training combines interactive sessions, group work, simulations, and practical exercises, ensuring a hands-on learning experience, and also includes individual reflection tasks throughout the process. The programme is designed to be highly participatory and dynamic, with active breaks included to support engagement and well-being during online sessions. A more detailed agenda will be shared with selected participants.
The training will take place under the following conditions:
Dates: 9–11 June 2026
Time: 09:00 – 14:00 (CET), daily
Platform: Zoom
Format: interactive online training
Includes live sessions, group work and discussions, practical simulations, and individual tasks between sessions
Active breaks will be included throughout the programme
Participants are expected to attend all sessions and actively engage in the training process
We are looking for participants who are actively working with young people or in the field of participation, including youth workers, youth leaders, representatives of youth organisations, professionals working in organisations for young people, representatives of municipalities or local authorities, teachers working in the field of participation, and professionals working on youth participation and engagement.
Participants will be selected based on their relevant professional or voluntary experience in youth work or participation, motivation to apply the PST4Y tool in their local context, capacity to work with young people and facilitate participatory processes, commitment to actively participate in the full training programme, ability to disseminate and transfer knowledge after the training, and balanced representation across countries and sectors.
Interested participants are invited to apply until 5th May 2026 through this application form. The selection process will be completed and results will be communicated by 10 May 2026.
