Training Course
29 November - 10 December 2021 | online, Greece
What is this course about:
The role of mentors in European Solidarity Corps’ (ESC) volunteering projects and its impact on quality will be explored and highlighted in this course.
Mentoring is a personal support measure for all participants in volunteering activities, as mentioned in the Guide and thus no young volunteer should remain unsupported or be provided with insufficient mentoring services. Competence development for mentors through training and peer-sharing is the main building block of this course.
This educational activity takes the form of an online training course, hosted in the ‘HOP Online Learning Platform’, which provides participants with a media-rich environment to further their learning. Videoconferencing through ‘ZOOM’ will supplement the learning experience.
This course builds on the success of the National Training for Mentors in Greece which took place in June 2020 and its consequent open online course which hosted more than 250 participants!
Aim of the course:
To enable competence development in mentoring through interactive online learning in view of improved quality within the European Solidarity Corps/Volunteering Programme.
