The project aims to empower young people with basic skills and knowledge to design, develop and realize project of youth exchanges from project idea to its realization. The main objective is to give young people more active role in creation of projects.
Training Course "Youth Exchange from A(pplication) to Z(ero) problems" will take place in Sicily, from 7 to 15 September and will gather 25 participants from 11 countries and 11 organisations. The project aims to empower young people with basic skills and knowledge to design, develop and realize project of youth exchanges from project idea to its realization. The main objective is to give young people more active role in creation of projects and at the same time to contribute to improving quality of projects under the Erasmus+ Programme, KA1. Participants will acquire and gain knowledge and competencies in the field of project writting, project managment, creating of programme and budget, group managment and final reporting. Will share experiences and find new ways to increase visibility of projects, support intercultural learning, ensure dissemination of results and create good social inclusion project. One of the objective of the project is to encourage young people sense of initiative, entrepreneurship and active citizenship. Participants will be young people, active volunteers, which have already some experiences in youth exchanges as participants or group leaders and are interested in create their own youth exchange projects. The TC from A to Z, is open also to participants with fewer opportunities and special needs (two deaf young people). Methods used during the training will contribute to the process of informal and non-formal learning, social and personal development of the participants and exchange of experiences and competences among their peers. During the training course participants will discuss and plan follow up activities, new projects and meet new partners.

Association InformaGiovani (Youth NGO)

Associazione InformaGiovani was established in 2001. It aims at foster and promote human and civil rights, with focus on right to information and participation; defend social and collective rights; promote local and international volunteering as tools for social inclusion and active citizenship. The association runs activities of information, training and counselling, seminars on EU programmes, on social volunteering and international cooperation, focusing on inclusion and rehabilitation of young people who are or risk experiencing social exclusion. Since 2008 organizes youth exchanges and international workcamps, involving about 250 participants. It is accredited as HSC organization for EVS, member of the Lindh foundation and of the Italian antimafia network “Libera”. Since 2009 is leading an informal European network for social volunteering and social inclusion and co-operates with Italian Juvenile Justice System to train youth workers and include young offenders in international activities.

Costs

There is no participation fee and all board and lodging costs will be covered. All participants will get travel grant. Please look the Max. Travel grant limits for your country before you buy ticket! You can find it in attached document! Travel grant will participants received AFTER they provide all documents to InformaGiovani (original of all tickets and boarding passes) and will be done by bank transfer. Only the cheapest way of transport will be accepted!

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
