Training Course
2-8 August 2026 | Poland
Change is an inevitable part of life, yet it often brings uncertainty, stress, and emotional challenges. Young people today face multiple transitions related to education, work, migration, relationships, identity, and rapidly changing social realities. Supporting them effectively requires not only understanding the psychology of change but also creating opportunities for active participation and personal growth.
The Change Journey is an international training course designed for youth workers, educators, trainers, and professionals working with young people. The training explores how individuals experience change, develop resilience, and find meaning during periods of transition. Participants will deepen their understanding of emotional reactions to change, identify personal coping strategies, strengthen self-awareness, and build practical skills for supporting others.
Through experiential learning, reflection, games, group processes, and peer exchange, participants will explore topics such as resilience, adaptation, stress management, communication during change, learning through challenges, and building supportive communities. Particular attention will be given to creating safe and empowering spaces where young people can develop confidence, express their needs, and navigate uncertainty.
The training also highlights the role of youth participation as a powerful tool for adaptation and empowerment. Participants will discover practical approaches to engage young people as active contributors during times of change, helping them strengthen their voice, sense of agency, and involvement in community life.
By the end of the course, participants will leave with practical methods, educational tools, and increased confidence to support young people in turning change into an opportunity for learning, growth, participation, and positive action.
