Project for youth workers and young leaders interested in method of digital storytelling and youth work

Training Course regarding the method of Digital Storytelling, where participants will be able to learn how to create videos, and how to use this method in usework in their local communities

Objectives

1) To discuss and explore the importance of digital methods for working with young people with different cultural background;

2) Enrich expertise in digital storytelling and learning how to facilitate activities based on this method;

3) To motivate and empower the participants to act as multipliers of our methodology when having activities and training on the topic in their local communities with the youth they work;

4) To establish a network of like-minded organizations and individuals between EU(program) and EaP(partner) countries, who have keen interest in the further cooperation on the topic digital storytelling methods for working with youth;

Profile of Participants

Age 18+, there is no max. age limitation

Able to communicate in English fluently

Experienced Youth Workers or individuals who are interested in starting youth work

Motivated to explore new ideas and methods regarding the topic of storytelling

Participants with fewer opportunities (Social, economic, educational and geographical obstacles)

COVID related:

Due to extraordinary times we live in: Host organization took extra measures in order to adapt our project to contemporary world’s realities, challenges and needs of our participants:

All safety standards regarding COVID are observed and there is maximum mobilization from host organziation;

The hotel where actual training will take place is fully compliant with COVID-related needs

In all respective areas of the project venue, have sprays, masks, hand sanitizers, antiseptic napkin, dezo-barriers etc.;

All hotel staff members are vaccinated, wearing masks and special sanitary coats.

The temperature of the staff members as well as the participants will be measured every day in the hotel.

Trainers and organizers, managers and logistics staff are fully vaccinated and have Covid passports;

The temperature of all participants will be measured daily before the start of the activities;

We are in communication with local hospital in Bakuriani and if necessary we will respond quickly to any specific case may occur;

All participants will be asked to have a PCR test done 48-72 hours before arrival, which excludes the presence of a COVID on the spot;

There is no touristical season in Bakuriani in November-December and there will be not much people (not crowded streets, hotels etc) it is a small town with a total population of 1500 locals;

Our organizations has 10 years of experience in organizing Erasmus+ project, our team has professional trainers and logistical members, we always approach with professional and quality standard to our projects.
