Traditional and Digital Woodworking Techniques for Inclusion

Training Course

15-19 February 2021 | online, Portugal

"Traditional and Digital Woodworking Techniques for Inclusion" will be a training course, aimed at trainers, that will give participants the opportunity to acquire new knowledge on new technologies applied to the wood's world, with a view to inclusion.

The DWA partnership is pleased to present the training course "Traditional and digital woodworking techniques for inclusion", which will be held online from 15 to 19 February 2021 from 11:00 on the zoom platform.

It will be a training course that will give participants the opportunity to acquire new knowledge and skills on new technologies in the world of wood, with a view to including disadvantaged people.
This training course represents an important moment of training, exchange, and comparison at an international level between all the actors involved on a daily basis in this sector, and offers the possibility to learn how in Europe new technologies support tradition.
In the countries of the Mediterranean area as in the Scandinavian ones, we find very long traditions linked to wooden products, with very different technical and morphological characteristics.

Through this non-formal and informal learning experience, we will support the development, recognition, and validation of acquired knowledge and skills.

The course will be in English and is aimed at trainers, educators, VET organizations, local authorities, companies, employment centers, policymakers, professionals, and researchers
