Training Course
1-9 July 2024 | Vinci, Italy
"The Unarmored Warrior" is a journey of self-discovery crafted to embrace the strength in vulnerability.
This Training Course offers a gentle yet profound exploration into self-awareness, drawing from psychology, literature, art, and creativity. Participants are invited to embark on their unique paths at their own pace, guided by inclusive methods tailored to individual needs.
Inspired by Professor Brené Brown's groundbreaking research on vulnerability and shame, this project highlights vulnerability as a courageous act that fosters genuine connections and personal growth. By authentically expressing ourselves, even amidst uncertainties, we create opportunities for empathy and understanding, strengthening bonds with others.
In today's complex social and political landscape, where positive role models are scarce, many struggle with emotional awareness and deep connections. In response, our training program aims to rebuild through self-discovery, tapping into hidden resources and self-awareness.
Our goal is to empower youth workers with skills to effectively support the youth they serve, focusing on early mental health prevention. Through emotional management and fostering empathy, resilience, and self-awareness, we equip participants for personal and professional growth.
Designed for 21 youth workers/educators, this course offers essential skills and experiences to enhance both personal development and professional practice.
Please take note: Prior to attending, carefully review the information provided and ensure you are genuinely open to sharing about yourself and engaging with emotional topics.
Additionally, we extend a warm welcome to those who can commit to treating the entire training period as a personal retreat, immersing themselves in the natural setting alongside fellow participants. (Please refer to the attached Infopack for details on accommodation.)
