Training Course
3-11 August 2025 | near Sigulda, Latvia
MAIN IDEA AND AIM
We believe that empowering young people starts with fostering healthy connections and effective collaboration. As youth workers and educators, we often see young people facing challenges with teamwork, experiencing conflicts, or struggling with exclusion. These issues are often rooted in poor group dynamics, which can negatively impact their well-being and development.
This project is designed to enhance the quality of youth work by equipping you with practical tools and strategies to navigate these challenges and foster healthier group relationships. Through a combination of experiential learning, outdoor activities, and non-formal education methods, we will explore how group dynamics influence inclusion, cooperation, and leadership development among young people.
OBJECTIVES
Our project aims to empower youth workers and educators with deeper knowledge and hands-on experience in managing group processes. Specifically, we aim:
* To increase awareness about the concepts of group dynamics and healthy relationships and how they relate to young people's well-being and empowerment.
* To enable critical reflection on personal patterns in groups and develop skills to better support youth.
* To share experiences from different countries on how unhealthy group dynamics manifest in society and youth work contexts (e.g., exclusion, conflicts).
* To provide and practice tools and strategies for fostering healthier group dynamics and relationships.
* To develop skills to plan and facilitate non-formal learning activities that improve group dynamics, both in practice sessions and through local activities.
* To implement concrete strategies within each participating organization to enhance group dynamics and relationships.
* To network and develop new Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps project ideas focused on fostering healthy group dynamics and relationships.
