The Power of CLOWNnection

Training Course

1-12 September 2025 | Vayrac (46110), France

Nomadways invites 26 youth workers and artists to explore the transformative power of CLOWNING, embodied expression, and visual facilitation in non-formal education and youth work. CLOWNnection is a 10-day creative residency in France.

The Power of CLOWNnection is a training that create a unique space for participants to reconnect with themselves, others, and their creativity while learning various methods to engage and empower young people, particularly those at risk of social exclusion or school dropout.

Our PEDAGOGY blends non-formal, experiential learning with creative, participatory methods specifically designed for youth work practitioners. Through clowning, improvisation, and movement, participants experience how embodied learning fosters self-awareness, empathy, and meaningful connections with young people.

We integrate visual facilitation techniques to translate complex concepts into accessible images, making ideas more memorable and inclusive. These methods help participants develop powerful educational tools that resonate with young people and support their growth through non-traditional learning approaches.

  • Improvisation and playful body practices to foster creativity and presence
