The training course on outdoor education approach for youth workers and educators.

During this training course:

You will gain competences in outdoor education
You will test the power of outdoor education on yourself
You will enrich your toolbox with a powerful educational approach
You will reflect how it can support building entrepreneurial mindset of youth

Key objectives:

to introduce educators to outdoor education approach and the power it has on the learning process
to learn about theoretical background of outdoor education and its key values
to discover the power of outdoor education by experiencing various outdoor activities
to reflect on opportunities of outdoor education as a powerful tool for building entreprenurial mindset of young people
to build participants skills in running outdoor activities
to create opportunities for networking and cooperation

PARTICIPANTS' PROFILE

Background: youth workers and educators working with young people

Should be 18 years old or over
Should be able to communicate in English
Should take part in the whole period of the training course
Should be ready to promote activities in own community after the training course ends
Selected participants are in charge of organising a local event (seminar, workshop etc) for own community within the month and a half after the training course comes to an end
Selected participants are in charge of dissemination and visibility activities of the project.

Costs

Participation fee

Please note, that there is a participation fee of 20 EUR per participant, that will be collected at the venue.

Accommodation and food

All costs related to programme, shared equipment, accommodation and food (3 meals per day- breakfast, lunch, dinner and 2 coffee breaks) will be covered by project’s budget.

Travel reimbursement

Participants will need to organise their travel until Krakow, the shuttle bus from the venue and back will be organised for the group.

The maximum reimbursement of travel costs:

Poland 23 EUR/ participant

Estonia, France, Italy, Latvia, Greece, Malta, North Macedonia 260 EUR / participant

For participants from Estonia, France, Italy, Latvia green travel option is avaliable ( in this case, the maximum limit of travel reimbursement is 305 EUR per participant).

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
