The future of artificial intelligence: who sets the limits?

Seminar

26 June 2026 | Online, Greece

A participatory webinar designed to spark conversations with young people about artificial intelligence, surveillance, and what kind of society we want to live in.

Young people are already living alongside AI. Apps that watch whether they're paying attention, cameras that catch them breaking rules, algorithms that predict what they'll buy next. But how many of them or us have actually stopped to ask: who decided this was okay?

This webinar is for youth workers, group leaders, and facilitators who want to explore artificial intelligence not as a tech topic, but as a social justice and citizenship issue, one that's already reshaping young people's lives.

What we'll do together:

We'll look at 5 real AI-enabled technologies already in use and ask who benefits from them, who gets left behind, and what rights are quietly being eroded. Together we'll map them on a scale between freedom and protection and then travel to 2031, step into roles (ordinary citizen, programmer, policy maker) and co-design the kind of society we actually want.

You'll leave with:

-Frameworks and provocative questions you can take straight back to your youth groups

-Your group's input feeding into a real toolkit for AI system designers

No technical knowledge needed. Just curiosity and a commitment to making sure young people's voices shape the future being built around them.

The webinar will take place on 26/6 at 15:00 EET and it will last approximately 1.5 hour.
