Training Course

15-22 April 2024 | Sardinia, Arborea, Italy

A 6 days training course for 25 youth workers from 5 European countries. The project is aimed to improve youth workers competence on team development and team management, through experiential learning sessions and Non Formal Education methods.

This training course will help youth workers to find out how to recognize conflicts among young people and how to deal with difficult situations in groups. Youth workers will learn how to build trustworthy and cooperative relationships among group leaders and also with other colleagues, by using non-formal education methods and tools. We want to bring together youth workers that are facing difficulties in managing conflicts and teams in working with young people, to make them more competent in team management and more skilled and prepared as professionists in the youth field. 

The aim of this Training Course is to improve youth workers competences on team development and team management, in their work with young people.

Objectives and benefits of the training course:
1. Developing participants knowledge regarding team management, leadership, communication, and conflict management that can be applied while working with young people;
2. Improving youth workers skills in discovering, choosing and implementing  non-formal education methods about team building, trust building, communication, and conflict management to apply in their daily work with youth;
3. Supporting participants to improve their confidence in managing groups of young people with the help of non-formal education methods and develop a proactive attitude towards conflict management.

This project is mainly addressed to:

  • Youth workers that are currently working with young people
  • Youth workers that are new in the international frame (E+ program) but are actively volunteering in a youth organization and with young people
  • Trainers who work with young people and want to improve their competences
  • Teachers involved in extracurricular activities
  • Volunteers in non-profit organizations

Age: over 18, no age limit.

The project will be facilitated by two experienced trainers with more than 5 years experience in Erasmus+. 

Participants in this training course will learn how to:

  • Recognize conflict in young people groups and identify solutions and tools to deal with conflicts 
  • Prevent conflicts and discrimination by fostering dialogue, cooperation and inclusion in youth groups
  • Include non formal education methods in daily activities as tool to foster team-building and partIcipative process
  • Create safe, inclusive space for everyone

No participation fee is required

Accommodation and food

Accommodation and meals are covered by the Erasmus Plus Programme

Travel reimbursement

Travel costs will be reimbursed to participants up to a maximum of 275,00 euros (Romania, Serbia, Denmark, Bulgaria). There is no reimbursement for Italian participants. 

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
