Training Course

24 March - 1 April 2022 | Krusevac, Serbia

This is a partnership project for the skills development of participating youth workers/leaders and providing them with innovative tools in the field of combating gender stereotypes and promoting gender equality in digital space.

“Overjump gender gap in digital space” is a cross-country partnership project for the upgrading collaborative cooperation of participating youth organizations focusing on the issue of digital entrepreneurship and gender equality in a European context,  The project will improve the quality of youth work and develop the competencies of people working with youth to act as advocates of greater gender equality and gain skills on how to promote young peoples’ (especially young women) empowerment regardless of their gender and equal economic independence.

Project will be realized in 3 phases: Preparation phase through 2 intro-edu Webinars, Realization phase through 7 day long international training course for 30 participants from CoE member countries and Follow up phase with realization of created national/local activities/initiatives in participating countries.

Training Course will be implemented from 24th of March to 1st of April 2022. in Krusevac, Serbia. (Travel dates included; 24th of March - Arrival day; 1st of April - Departure day).

“Overjump gender gap in digital space” is a partnership project for the skills development of participating youth workers/leaders and providing them with innovative tools in the field of combating gender stereotypes and promoting gender equality in digital space. 

The main Aim of this project is to increase women's participation in the digital sector, with specific focus on:

- Challenging digital gender stereotypes;

- Promoting digital skills and education;

- Advocating for more women entrepreneurs.

Specific objectives:

- Building of key competences (knowledge, skills and attitudes) of youth workers/leaders to integrate different approach, tools and resources that promote gender equality in digital skills and digital entrepreneurship.

- To engage, connect and empower youth workers, leaders to use opportunities and tools to create and share educational content which will foster gender diversity in design, implementation and use of ICT and digital services.

- Develop a strong international cooperation between all partner organizations for the promotion of gender equality in the digital economy

Educational center - Krusevac (ECK) through its activities is aimed at two areas of priorities:
• Implementation of lifelong non-formal citizen education in the field of democracy, civil society, human rights, the respect of differences, the culture of peace and non violence.
• Support of active participation of youth in social life of the community.
ECK activities in work with youth are primarily aimed at empowering youth to be active in their community through non-formal education, networking, advocacy and approaching European initiatives.

Participation fee

There is NO participation fee for this event.

Accommodation and food

Accommodation, food and coffe breaks will be fully covered by organizers.

Travel reimbursement

Travel costs: 70% of actual travel costs will be reimbursed to participants by bank transfer after providing original travel documents. Participants are in charge of covering 30% of their travel costs.
