In the training course, participants will acquire new alternative methods for dealing with social problems/conflicts and oppression. The training will focus mainly on Forum Theatre method, but will also approach Image Theatre and Invisible Theatre.

The main goal of the training “Take Artitude! Be the change you want to see in the world.” is to increase the capacity of youth workers to encourage participation and involvement of young people in social processes; More specific Objectives of the project are: - To develop and improve participants’ skills in non-formal education; social and training skills (communication, leadership and presentation skills, etc.), which are necessary to gain to continue as multipliers of Forum Theatre; - To analyze and describe the aim, role and advantages of the Forum Theatre method; - To apply the working method of Forum Theatre in the participants local/regional/national/international projects; - To create strategies for dealing with team members, and all the process that a Forum Theatre project implies; - To increase active participation of the participants in social processes and change their attitudes; - To develop facilitation and mediation skills; - To find out similarities and differences in social problems that countries/communities are facing on their way to social inclusion, as well as similarities and differences in methods and approaches used to resolve conflicts and problems.

KuKu - Drustvo za Kreativno Udeležbo (Organisation for Creative Participation) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that works on a local and international level. It was founded in October 2009 by the young people, students and youth leaders from Ptuj with significant experience in youth work.

Our mission is to promote creativity for social change through participative arts for 13-30 years old youngsters. Our main activities are joggling (poi, balls, devil stick, diabolo, clubs, staff ...), music (percussion, didgeridoo, self-made instruments), dance (contemporary dance, African dance) and Social theatre. We are organizing street animation, children animation, performances and workshops.
Our aim is to promote active participation, individual responsibility and emotional
thinking of young people. To raise awareness about multiculturalism, global
education and sustainable development through art and creativity on the streets
and in everyday life.
